How your files are processed
Every A.C.U.T.E. Labs tool processes files entirely within your browser using standard web APIs and open-source libraries (pdf-lib, JSZip). No file content is transmitted to any server.
You can verify this yourself: open DevTools → Network tab while using any tool and observe that no file bytes are sent to any external service.
What we collect
- We do not collect, store or transmit the files you process.
- We do not require an account for free tools.
- Basic anonymous usage analytics (page views, tool opens) may be collected via Cloudflare's built-in analytics. No personal data is attached.
- If you purchase a Pro license, your email and payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. We receive only a license key confirmation.
License key validation
When you enter a Pro license key, the key is sent to a Cloudflare Pages Function (an edge function on our domain) which validates it against the Lemon Squeezy API. The key itself is stored in your browser's localStorage. No file content is involved in this step.
Cookies and local storage
We use localStorage to remember your license key and your daily usage count for the free tier. No tracking cookies are set.
Third parties
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts the static application files.
- Lemon Squeezy — processes Pro license payments. Their privacy policy applies to purchase data.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
As we hold no personal data beyond what you choose to submit via the contact form, your rights to access, rectify or erase data are straightforward to exercise. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
